Sweet Summer Time is a Comin'

Hi, Peeps! I hope you all had a nice weekend! This week will be my last week with my UT student teachers. They have all been so wonderful to me this semester and I am going to really miss them. I am confident that they are all going to go out and do big things in the classroom...lucky students will walk through their doors this fall!

After I finish summative evaluations this week, I am going to put the finishing touches on my Tots and Technology presentation...and, start working on my TpT store again! I have missed it so much! My goal is for attending teachers to walk away feeling confident about using Class Dojo's real-time behavior management system to reinforce positive behaviors in their classrooms this fall.  

Jet took a long nap after church today and I was able to work on a new slideshow...I hope you enjoy it!  He has grown so much and is the sweetest, most easy going baby.  We are so blessed!

Can you believe it's almost April?  Jet will turn 7 months on my birthday this Thursday.  I can't wait (and one of my instructors from Texas Tech is coming to Austin this week...can't wait to see her)!

A is also for A-MAZING weather in Austin!  Summer is right around the corner and we are ready.  Jet started swim lessons last month and is pretty much Michael Phelps in training, haha!  Can't wait to pool it up this summer!  He is growing and changing everyday...we can't get over it!  This age is so much fun!

My sweet Jet was featured on KHOU 11 (Houston news) today! They had a contest early in the morning and I submitted his picture...and, a few hours later, I was scrolling through my news feed and saw a picture of a baby who looked pretty familiar under their St. Paddy's Day headline, haha! He is my lucky charm (I found the lucky charm quote/printable on Pinterest earlier; click on it to be redirected to Melissa Coleman's blog)!

And...here's a cyber pinch if you're not wearing green, haha!

Technology + Beach = WIN

Little Jet took his first trip to the Cayman Islands over the Christmas break.  We got some great pictures of him!  He is just so easy going and sweet...and changing everyday...rolling over and pushing up! I love my baby!  Enjoy the pics!

I took him to our pediatrician today for his 4 month appointment (can't believe it has already been that long!) and here are his big boy stats:

In other news, I was offered a faculty position at the University of Texas starting this semester! I will be working part-time (perfect for my sweet Jet) with student teachers...one of my favorite roles in the past!  I love the world of teacher education and I can't wait to work with this group! We are going to have a fun, busy semester!
